Modern Fossils is excited to announce that we will be hanging our 3rd Solo Show at the Free Library of Northampton Township (in Richboro, PA) during the month of March 2024!

The Show can be viewed from March 2nd through March 31st during regular Library hours. (see below)

David P. Horowitz of Modern Fossils is proud to be showing his sculpture "Spring Metamorphosis" at New Hope Arts' Spring Members Salon - Art Across the River 2024.

Once again, Artsbridge and New Hope Arts will present a collaborative art exhibit featuring member artists of both organizations. The Spring Salon “Art Across the River” will be held at New Hope Arts, 2 Stockton Ave., New Hope, PA. It will feature original paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, and works in other media, showcasing the creative talents of artists in our region.

An opening reception for artists and their guests will be held at New Hope Arts on Thursday, March 21st, from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm. The show will be juried and a total of seven prizes awarded. Awards will be announced at 6:00pm.

Modern Fossils is thrilled to be showing in this year's Crafts at the Cathedral, a fine juried arts and crafts show that is held inside NYC's Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, the world’s largest gothic cathedral!

Join us this year, as the Cathedral celebrates the holidays!

This Cathedral, a prime tourist destination, is of enormous scale and beauty. The floors in the nave are of green Vermont slate, which combined with the soaring columns, the gothic arches, and the spectacular stained-glass windows, make St John the Divine overwhelming in its grandeur!

Modern Fossils is thrilled to join Marketspace Vendor Events and The Red Mill Museum for their 14th Annual Winter Village, Festival of Trees and Dicken's Days at The Red Mill in Clinton, NJ!

The Winter Village is an outdoor, tented, and heated, winter arts & crafts market featuring over 40 local artists and craft artisans, activities, and food trucks each day.

Modern Fossils is excited to join Crafts in the Meadow at Tyler State Park on October 21st and 22nd!

The Crafts in the Meadow Fall Invitational Craft Show is a fine art and craft event showcasing excellence in craftsmanship alongside a festive weekend of live music, performing arts, and refreshments. There will be over 100 fine artisans, demonstrations, live music, great food …. and lots for the kids to enjoy too!

Modern Fossils is excited to announce that three of our pieces have been accepted into Nails in the Wall Gallery's upcoming Exhibit entitled: "Home: Security / Insecurity".

Nails in the Wall Gallery is located within St. Luke's Church in Metuchen, NJ.

The Exhibit will hang from Sept 23rd - Dec 17th, 2023, with an Opening Reception on Saturday Sept 23rd from 2-4pm.

The accepted Modern Fossils are: "Mobile Home", "Road House", and "Sticks & Threads Make a Good Bed".

"Virtu": The Love of Fine Arts

Modern Fossils is excited to join the 27th annual 'Virtu' Outdoor Arts Festival, proudly hosted by The Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce. The Virtu Arts Festival will feature fine selected works of art from approximately 140 selected artists and craft-persons from around the country, plus live entertainment, a "Creation Station" for kids, a sidewalk chalk festival, and delicious foods.. all surrounded by sidewalk sales throughout downtown Westerly/Pawcatuck RI.

This event takes place each year in beautiful Wilcox Park, in downtown Westerly RI. Virtu is always held rain or shine, and admission is free.

The weekend of May 20th marks the peak bloom of Hortulus Farm's stunning old-fashioned peony plants. The 3,000 carefully cared for plants have been growing on this farm for over 30 years. They create the most remarkable display of color as they bloom throughout the month of May, filling the farm with an explosion of flowers. It’s truly something to see.

David P. Horowitz will be displaying a Solo Sculpture Show entitled "Introspective Retrospective 2019-2022" at The Feasterville Library (aka The Township Library of Lower Southampton) from January 27th - July 29th 2023.

This library is housed in a modern 13,000 square foot building with a beautiful exhibition space. Located in Feasterville PA, it
