Modern Fossils is excited to announce that our piece entitled "Northern Lights in Winter" will hang in Whittemore CCC's upcoming Small Works Art Show, “Bridging Nature”. This show aims to celebrate the intricate beauty of nature and explore the profound connections that bind us to the world around us.
Please join us for the Exhibit's Open House on Saturday & Sunday, May 4th & 5th, from 10am-5pm. The Show will be open every subsequent weekend, from 11am-5pm, through June 23rd.
Artworks in this Exhibit delve into the theme of nature across a spectrum of mediums, including the inventive use of upcycled materials, the classic strokes of painting, the captivating lens of photography, the artistry of bookmaking, the delicacy of works on paper, the sculptural form, and the dynamic fusion of mixed media incorporating natural elements.
The exhibition embraces both 2-D and 3-D works, providing a versatile platform for creativity that transcends traditional boundaries.
The small works format provides a canvas for a wide spectrum of artistic expressions, infusing the event with excitement and dynamism.
Tris McCall will judge "Best in Show" for this exhibition.
